I’m Rushi Surampudi and I am a senior at Westview High School. I am very passionate about biology, specifically pertaining to medicine.
I have spent the better half of my high school years working at the Biomedical Research Lab at OHSU on a project designing microchips to be embedded into blood vessels. I am also very interested in integrating computing with the human brain, so I hope to pursue Computational Biology in college.
I have participated in various competitions such as Science Bowl/Olympiad, History bowl etc. I am also currently the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Oregon State President.
I love to bring my experience and knowledge to younger kids and expose them to various subjects and help them find what they are passionate about. My hobbies include making music and going out with friends and families.
